Brown Cloth. Condición: Contents Good, Cover Fair. No Jacket. Eleventh Ed. 360 pages; circa 100 line drawings showing exercises, equipment. The author was proprietor of the Essex St. Gymnasius, Boston; Professor of Physical Culture in the Boston Normal Institute. Book condition: Cover cloth is missing about 1/8 inch on the extremeties of the spine. A 1/4 inch Diam. spot on the spine, and a narrow one-inch long strip of cover is missing adjacent the hinge at the top of the spine, facing the front cover; and a one square of cover cloth is also missing on the front cover. Title and author is plainly read on the spine. Corner area is well worn, especially the front cover. Hinges are secure. Edges of the book are a light tan color, as are the pages throughout. This is the original binding. Contents are cmplete including end-papers. Owners signature is written on one of the blank endpapers.

Boards are cracked but still attached. Dampstain on top edge of first pages. Various other stains to be found throughout the book.
