However, aside from the library markings, the book otherwise has no major flaws, does show brief, occasional, minor signs of use (occasional wear and rubbing to the cloth binding at the board edges, some wear and tearing to the cloth at top and bottom of spine). Well-made book, bound in heavy-duty dark blue cloth-covered boards with bright embossed gilt lettering on the front and the spine. The book remains exceptionally clean and stain-free, square and straight, still firm and tight in its binding, no pages loose, torn, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corner tips show a bit of wear, but have not been bumped. Internally, all pages are clean and stain-free, and all text is crisp, sharp, and very legible.
