Tauscher was a notorious German Agent in America and the sole importer of Commercial German Lugers and Ammunition during this period. Also included is Government correspondence used as evidence in the Hans Tauscher court trial. Guns are listed by the serial number, date sold and caliber for each. This book was published by Sam Costanzo a few years prior to its major work, World of Lugers - Proof Marks. Very Rare and Desirable! The prior owner's ownership stamps appear on the title page and the inside back cover. An old price and a date are penned on the top right of the title page. The soft red covers have some soiling and rubbing. The inside is clean and the binding is tight. Overall a solid Very Good copy of a scarce publication at a reasonable price.
