A few small nicks and grey along text block edge, with occasional faint thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a subtle forward lean and bow. Clipped dust jacket has light wear to surfaces with slight creasing along edges. Moderate sunning to spine.

Foreword by Mary Soames and an introduction, exclusive to this edition, by Minnie Churchill. From a limited edition of 1,500 copies this copy carries a very desirable low number of 38. The extremely robust slipcase is bound to match the volume itself and shows no damage, wear or scuffing. The whole package is in the condition it came to me from Levenger.
