Hardcover. Condición: Good. MacPherson's "Mystery Chef" radio program ran from 1932 to 1945, in the midst of the Great Depression. His cookbook featured recipes for a limited budget and was a great success. It has very detailed instructions, and contains charming anecdotes. A delight to read. This copy has a bit of edgewear and small, uneven staining on the front and back covers from spending 80 years in a kitchen, but the inside is in good condition, with a recipe scribbled in pencil on the inside front page (presumably from the original owner.).
