Football autobiography of Charlie Tully (1924-71), the little Belfast lad who signed for Glasgow Celtic in 1948 and went on to play 319 games for the club over 11 years. A Northern Ireland international, Tully scored both goals in the famous 2-2 draw with England in 1952. At his funeral, the Falls Road in Belfast was jam-packed with mourners. This was the first book ever written by a Celtic player. 8vo. 118pp. 12 pages of photographs. Dust-wrapper, rubbed with a couple of short closed tears to top edge and price-clipped. A good copy.
