Book Conditions: Very Good; light edgewear from slip case; suntanned spines with dulled gilt lettering. No DJs. Patterned Slip Case is in good condition; edge cracks at top and one bottom side; moderate edgewear at opening; slight flaking of edges of gold label on closed end. Black and White patterned paper over boards with black cloth overlays and dulled gilt lettering on the spines. 253 pp/89 pp both 8to. These Restless Heads consists mostly of essays but also includes fiction about Prospero from The Tempest and True Thomas who loved the queen of Faerie. Cabell's book is accompanied by Carl Van Doren's excellent study of the author. A clean presentable pair of books.
