Pages remain bright and clear with mild tanning to edges and occasional speckles of foxing. Slightly more pronounced to endpapers. Binding remains firm. Minor creasing to front endpaper. Minor brown mark to rear endpaper and pastedown. Top text block edge dyed green. Boards have slight edge wear with corner bumping. Mild tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is slightly darkened. Mild fraying to spine ends and edges. Unclipped jacket, priced 12s 6d net. Panels have light edge wear with tears, chips, and creasing. Minor loss to spine top edge. Noticeable tanning to spine. Faint black marks overall with mild foxing.

Hardcover. Condición: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. A fair first edition copy with some lower edge spine damage which is frayed and torn (1cm). There is gutter cracking opposite the title page, exposing the netting. Also, there is a WH Smith library bookplate inside the front cover. Internally the book is rather good with clean pages with just a slight dusting of spotting. There's a slight forward lean to the spine. The covers are fairly clean except for a few small stains and little rubbing. Please see photos.
