Quarter Calf. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. Limited. This 27 pp. book is a special edition, Limited to 300 cc. It is printed on high quality paper, has a facsimile letter written by Scott "tipped-in" the front and is "Quarter Calf", being paper-covered boards with a supple leather spine wrapping around. The book includes "A Centenary Address" by Buchan, and "A Forgotten Antiquary" by Antwerp. Prior owner's bookplate just inside the front board. Lightly rounded corners, but otherwise quite nice. It contains the text of a speech given by John Buchan in Selkirk and an article by William van Antwerp about Scott's friend, Joseph Train, entitled "A Forgotten Antiquary". 27pp Grey-green paper-covered boards with green lettering; tan leather spine with gold lettering; deckled edges; fold-out facsimile letter; 3 other illustrations. The surface of the leather spine is worn away at the ends and there are a couple of small marks on the front. Excellent internally.

It includes the text of an address given by JB at the Scott Centenary celebrations in Selkirk and an essay by Walter C van Antwerp on Joseph Train, a friend of Scott and a diligent collector on his behalf of Border folklore and legends. 28 pages. Bound in green paper-covered boards with darker green lettering and a tan leather spine with gold lettering. Outer and lower edges uncut. Includes a facsimile of a letter written by Scott and 3 illustrations. The spine is slightly darkened and is rubbed at the head. The front paste-down bears a printed bookplate.
