Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. *** IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE UK YOU MUST CHOOSE PRIORITY MAIL AT CHECKOUT SO I CAN SEND THE BOOKS AIR MAIL, TRACKED AND INSURED. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOKS IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY THE PRIORITY MAIL RATE BECAUSE YOUR ORDER WILL BE REFUSED AND I WILL NOT TRADE WITH YOU AGAIN. *** This is a UK first edition set - Parts One and Two - published by Private Libraries Association in 1971 and 1977 respectively . The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading the books as Very Good conditon. EACH book has a straight spine with firm corners and lightly softened spine ends. There is discoloration to the front cover of each - see photo - where the boards have rubbed, When you open Part ONE you will find a paper indent that states a previous owner's address. It's quite hard to see at first glance and I missed it first go round. When you open Part TWO book you will see the ghost mark of a previous owner label that has been removed, which nestles in the bottom corner. There is also the suggestion of an owner stamp to the title page, which has been removed. The page edges and interior text are both clean but the front end papers are sunned in places - mildly irritating at best; certainly it doesn't detract from the books' appearance in my opinion as a collector. The title page of Part One confirms the year of publication as 1971 and the copyright page states 1500 copies were printed, of which 700 are for sale. The title page of Part Two confirms the year of publication as 1977 and the copyright page states 2000 copies were printed, of which 700 are for sale.
