Ediciones Sieghels 2011. Argentina. 156 paginas con fotografias15.

Gunther Bloemertz may well have been a Luftwaffer fighter pilot like hundreds of others in World War 2, but he was also a natural philosopher. The story is an exploration of personal motivations and subseqent reactions to the extraordinary events of the time. There is no false bravado regarding the grim aspects of ariel warfare. Also, there is asingular lack of techno-jargon that would,in the context of this very human story,be almost irrelevant. However, the events are vividly recounted such that the reader does gain an insight into what it must have been like to be faced with extreme personal danger and stress, exhileration and emotional exhaustion while being strapped into what was,for many impressional young men,a`flying coffin` Ref GGG6.
