Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good Minus. Thomas Fogarty Ilustrador. Reprint. Blue paper boards. DJ nearly complete, but chipped and torn along head. This was my first meeting with Ray Stannard Baker, writing as David Grayson. Baker was a successful news writer who wanted to get away from deadlines and other pressures. His "Adventures" series sold very well, he was involved in starting American Magazine, and he received the Nobel Prize for his biography of President Woodrow Wilson. After skimming the first 50 pp., I had trouble getting my teeth into it due to certain dated expressions and "airy-fairy" situations with which I couldn't identify. Just a litle too airy-fairy for me. 273 pp. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Book.
