Reprint. Hardcover book bound in the publisher's original cloth. 22 cm. 96 pages. Contains black-and-white illustrations. Originally published in 1854, this temperance novel was written expressly to discourage readers from drinking alcohol. This copy contains a handwritten presentation inscription by the publishers on the front loose end page. In very good plus condition. No ownership other marks/writing present within. Hinges tight, pages bright. Light edge wear/bumping, soiling, staining to the covers.
