weicher Einband. 8°. 3 Seiten. Gedruckter Briefkopf Royal Observatory"." I am very much distressed at finding no trace of the Minutes of the Board of Visitors of the Royal Observatory for the years preceding 1830. The Royal Society [.] do not find them: the Admiralty cannot find them: I have here a large and apparently complete collection of the papers of the Board of Longitude, and the Minutes are not here. The book was, as I remember, occasionally in your custody (as Secretary of the Royal Society), and it occurs to me to ask you whether it was carried to your house [.] Possibly a search in your Library shelves might discover it [.] The book is one of very great interest to the Observatory [.]". "Airy also organized data that had been put aside to gather dust." (Asimov 248)." 1.000 gr.
