First edition. Scarce offering from the Gehenna Press. Prints Leyda's poem about the home of Emily Dickinson in black alternating with lines in red from the house's deed. Wood engraving by Lockwood of Dickinson printed on tissue. Number 102 of a stated 100 copies SIGNED BY LOCKWOOD. Blue stapled paperwraps, decorative front label printed in red and black. Near fine with outer corners lightly creased and cover edges showing the slightest darkening.

A fine set in the publisher's navy (nearly black) cloth, with just a hint of fading to the blue topstains near the crowns of both volumes. In the publisher's slipcase, very good or better, with some gentle fading and a few small stains. A scarce set (particularly with slipcase) of this extraordinary work, which recreates a daily life chronology of Emily Dickinson from her journals, diaries, letters, and recorded interactions.
