Image/ Sheet size 30 x 30cm (11.75 x 11.75 inches) This was plate 79, as published in A Tribute to Birgit Skiold , 1983. Brendan Neiland [British 1941- ] Painter, print maker and teacher, born in Lichfield, Staffordshire. He attended Birmingham College of Art, 1962 6, then Royal College of Art, 1966 9, winning the John Minton Scholarship in the latter year. In that year, too, he showed at ICA, with Young Contemporaries and in North America, in 1970 making the first of several appearances at Bradford Print Biennale, in 1971 having the first of a series of exhibitions at Angela Flowers Gallery. In 1973 Neiland gained a solo show at Victoria & Albert Museum, which toured. Won a prize at John Moores Exhibition, Liverpool, in 1978. Neiland went on to show with Fischer Fine Art, where he was noted for his sophisticated cityscapes which dwelt on reflections and refractions of light. Arts Council and Banque Arabe et Internationale d Investissement, Paris, hold his work. N° de ref. del artículo 60003411
