Hard Cover. Near Fine/Near Fine Dustjacket. First Edition. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. 129 pages. With dozens of photos and reproductions in color and black & white. INCLUDES THE UNPLAYED 45 rpm RECORD PRODUCED TO ACCOMPANY THE MUSICAL NOTATIONS AND CONCEPTS SET FORTH BY AGAM IN THE BOOK, in its own special protective pocket and sleeve at the rear of the book. Text is in English, translated by Haakon Chevalier, with the exception of the introduction, which is also reproduced in Hebrew in a facsimile of the author's handwriting. A lovely, important book, well-bound in sturdy green cloth-covered boards with stamped white lettering on the front and the spine. The pages are printed on coated, high-grade, glossy paper, very well-made. Dozens of fascinating photos and reproductions, many in full color. Neither book or dustjacket have any real flaws of note, showing at most only extremely brief, very occasional and minor signs of prior reader handling or shelf use. The book itself is exceptionally clean, it stands perfectly straight and it is extremely firm and tight in its binding, with no pages loose, missing, folded or torn. The hinges are sound and undamaged, three of the corner points are sharp and unbumped, while the bottom rear corner is slightly nudged. The pages show a bit of age-toning at the edges, but are clean, clear, and unsmudged, and all text and illustrations are bright, sharp and very legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting or markings of any kind in the book. NO remainder marks. NOT ex-library. NO bookplates or inscriptions. NOT a bookclub. The dustjacket is, quite surprisingly, still in its original glassine protective cover as issued, and, as a result, is exceedingly clean, no stains, blemishes or soiling, and it is complete and intact, no tears, no chips, no pieces missing, no rubbing, no wrinkles, no creases, no folds, NOT corner-clipped. There is a minor bit of wear just at the bottom front corner of the jacket, and there is some light age-toning to the white areas at the jacket edges, which is common to this title. The record is unscratched and completely intact. N° de ref. de la librería 5181
