Four volumes. Early collected edition, the fourth volume being a first printing. Portrait frontis. lv, 483p; xxvi, 495p; iv, 21-607p; xi, 13-447p. Complete in text, the memoir of Poe originally in volume 3 now issued here in volume I. Bound in contemporary American morocco with marbled boards, with some light rubbing. A few signatures slighly proud, but not loose. Volume one with score mark to head of spine, but no splitting. An excellent set, usually found in worn condition. [Heartman & Canny 129-32; BAL 16161].
