With the folding map preceding chapter 1, and numerous other full-page maps and maps contained within the text. Good. The extremities are rubbed and gently bumped. The front hinge is going, the rear hinge is split, and the text block is cracked at the front and center. There is a bookseller's ticket on the front pastedown, and there are notations from previous owners on the front flyleaf.
