Acerca de

A not quite competent jewel thief’s flight from a large U.S. city into the rural desert of northern Mexico creates a cultural and motivational clash of a disparate group of characters seeking wealth, escape, respect or even love. The Wooing of Doña Inez is the tale of a beautiful young woman who doesn’t know what she wants, her parents who wish for her happiness with a rich son-in-law, an inexperienced young Jewish man who wants to become a man so he can marry the girl of his dreams and a handsome young gigolo who wants to live to see another day of life and love in the arms of some woman who appreciates his charms. These lives and others are suddenly interrupted by the thief, those that pursue him and those that pursue the pursuers.

About the Author:

M.D. Woodson began his first book at age eleven (never published) in his native Texas. After moving to California as an adult, he continued to write for his own pleasure and for the entertainment of friends and family. The father of one daughter and step son, he is now retired after a long career in human services and lives in northern Baja California, Mexico with his wife, Marcia, a jeweler, two cats and a variety of snakes, lizards, jack rabbits and coyotes. The Wooing of Doña Inez is his first novel.
