Acerca del autor: Angel Smits received her degree in Gerontology from the University of Northern Colorado, but learned the most about the care of Alzheimer's and dementia patients through day-to-day contact with them and their families. First as a social worker, then in the role of director for multiple secure units in Colorado, she developed the skills she now shares through her lectures and writing. She is an award-winning author as well as the former co-owner of Care Decisions, LLC, a consulting, care management firm.
