About the Author:

David Dockterman brings a multitude of perspectives - as a teacher, parent, school committe member, and veteran in the educational technology field - to his insights about teachers and technology. A former social studies teacher, David graduated from Yale and earned his Ed.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education before joining Tom Snyder Productions in 1984. David has designed several award-winning software products including Science Court; Decisions, Decisions; and The Great Ocean Rescue. Author of the highly regarded book, Great Teaching in the One-Computer Classroom, he is a popular keynote speaker and chairman of his local school committee. David and his wife Gabrielle live in Carlisle, Massachusetts, with their son Jake.
