28 pages of text. Originally bound in printed paper wrappers, which are present here. The front wrapper is soiled and a bit worn; called "Allman's Edition" on front wrapper. Illustrated with a fold-out hand-colored frontis believed to be by George Cruikshank, which is slightly browned. Minor foxing to text. Rear wrapper contains a publisher's advertisement for The Remarkable Life of Dr. Faustus. Previous owner's name on a front endpaper of book collector "Charles G. Dill" of Middletown, NY. Engraved bookplate on the front endpaper "WTH." Rebound circa 1900 by Estes & Lauriat of Boston in three quarter leather, with marbled boards and endpapers. The leather is slightly shelfworn. The marbled endpapers have minor discoloration from old tape adhesive. This publication is highly uncommon, with no recorded holdings on OCLC. First edition. Size: Octavo (8vo).
