Unclipped. Joints – good condition – worn but good. Corners – good condition – corners bumped. Boards – good condition – dust jackets have closed tears to the board edges, cloth boards very good. Page edges – fair to good condition, top of page edges a deep maroon colour which is spotted and sun faded to some volumes, front page edges are spotted and foxed to the earlier volumes but this doesn’t impact internally, underneath page edges with shelf wear.
