Very Good in a Fair dustjacket. Front jacket flap lists to this book only. This is #8 in the series, and the ad on last page of book lists only to #7. The book is in lime green cloth-covered boards decorated with stamped lettering and the " open door" stamped pictorial on the front board. With the pink (muave, violet, p urple) "flashlight" endpapers. The exterior top page edges are dyed pink to matc h the endpapers. The book itself has few notable flaws. It is very firm and exce edingly tight in its binding, with no pages loose, missing or torn. The hinges a re intact and undamaged. There is a slight amount of user and/or shelfwear to th e exterior page edges, but nothing serious. The book is exceptionally clean, wit h no stains, blemishes or dirt. The exterior boards are actually Near Fine. As u sual there is a slight amount of age toning at the page edges. All four corner p oints are unbumped. The book is straight with no roll, no lean and no cocking. A n amazingly well-conditioned copy. The dustjacket has 1.25" missing from the bot tom of the spine, and there is significant chipping at the top of the spine. The title, author's name and Judy's picture are all still intact and visible on the spine, however. There are chips at the corner points of the jacket. The remaind er of the jacket is completely intact with only moderate edgewear and some creas ing. The price of 50c is unclipped on the jacket flyleaf. Our Brodart clear plas tic cover helps the jacket considerably and the jacket still presents rather wel l all things considered. Of course the book is much better than the usual copies you will see today. Very collectible. Illustrated by Plates by Pelagie Doane. 1 st Edition. N° de ref. de la librería
