Descripción Le Jardin des Modes, Paris, 1931. First edition. A charming illustrated work by the celebrated French children's book illustrator "Francoise" (1897-1961, pseud. of Francoise Seignobosc). The story recounts the opening of Genesis, richly illustrated with images of animals, Adam and Eve, and God. Oblong. Text in French. 13 French-folded leaves on linen, printed in four colors by Paul Dumas, totalling 26 pages. Similarly printed linen covers stiffened with card, original cloth backstrip.
