Poems commemorating and praising various Icelandic-Canadian (and to a lesser extent American) writers of importance - including explorer Vilhjalmar Stefansson, poet Guttormur Guttormsson of Manitoba; Rev. R. Marteinsson of Winnipeg; Richard Beck of Grand Forks, N. Dakota, etc. The author, Friðrik Lúðvík 'Lúlli' Kristjánsson, was born Fáskrúðsfjörður, East Iceland, 1887, son of Kristján Kristensen, Danish ship's captain, and Kristín Björnsdóttir (who was a first cousin to Icelandic poet Páll Ólafsson), immigrated to Canada at 16 in 1903, first to the Argyle Settlement, then to Winnipeg, took up plasterer's trade, active in the Good Templars and Icelandic National League, well known for his humorous poetry, entertained at many Icelandic gatherings in Winnipeg. His wife was Gestný Gestsdóttir. At time of cataloguing, not listed in Amicus, not in Peel (3rd Ed.); not in Gegir, not listed at University of Manitoba, though the latter repository has a version of this item published in Reykjavik in the same year (though this could be in error, as Gegnir dioes not list a variant published in Reykjavik).
