She found only one copy of this de facto second edition (of three successive editions) of the cookbook bearing this title. She found it at The Manitoba Provincial Archives. DESCRIPTION: 48 p. ; 22 cm. NOTES: "This book has been compiled for The Universal Life Assurance and Annuity Company by Mrs. Olive Kyle ."--p. [1]. Driver at p. 968 states that the author was a graduate of the Fannie Farmer School of Cookery in Boston and Driver speculates that Kyle may have served as resident cook for the Winnipeg President of the subject insurance company, S. C. Tweed, who was married to her sister. Comprised mostly of recipes but also includes some company information. A key to distinguishing this edition from the two subsequent edition is the presence on p. 39 of a heading that reads "Buying Dollars for Future Delivery.
