This edition was the first official mass market edition of the acclaimed novel (not including the limited Shakespeare and Company first edition), and contains some revisions to the original text. Wrappers with some sunning to spines, and with a minor stain to spine of vol.1. Covers with some light scratches and smudging. Light rubbing to corners and heads & tails of spines. Light creasing along spines and fraying at heads of spines. Interior of vol.2 with a small rip to the bottom of the half-title page. Book blocks tight overall.
