Sinopsis:

The Tiger that Could Play© written by Michael J. Ragnetti, Illustrated by Susan J. Ghezzi. The delightful and inspirational story of Jessee, a gentle tiger, who leaves his unlocked cage at the zoo. He journeys into the world of children, at a nearby playground. Jessee joins the kids in playing games where he experiences challenges that require him to make decisions. He discovers a whole new world in which he can be accepted simply for who he is-- a tiger who loves to play!

About the Author:

Michael is a friendly fellow, who enjoys children. He believes that role models play an important part in children s everyday lives. This is one of the reasons he has written this children s book series about Jessee the Tiger. When he was a child, Michael was inspired by Babe Ruth, as a role model. The Babe was a great baseball hero, who also cared enough to set aside time for all the children.

Now, Michael wants to share that kind of experience with the children of today s world; by bringing forth his own positive role model called Jessee the Tiger. The tiger encounters challenges and shows children, by example, how to overcome fears and rejection. Jessee shows that by being persistent, determined, and believing in one s self, children can learn to become more successful. Mr. Ragnetti demonstrates these qualities throughout his book series. He believes by doing this, he can show children the way toward a more positive lifestyle.

Michael J. Ragnetti s interests include a love of sports, outdoor activities, travel, music, movies, cars, and books about people, life, and animals. He loves to write, and has an active imagination. He also loves spending time with people, and genuinely enjoys having fun!

Mr. Ragnetti is presently attending Pace University, where he is majoring in Accounting. He is also advancing his career at IBM. In addition, Michael hopes that this book series is successful, so he can reinvest into projects that can help children. He would like to thank you for your trust in his story books, and hopes to enhance your children s lives, today as well as tomorrow.
