**RARE**NOT EX-LIBRARY**TEXT CLEAN AND UNMARKED** 816 pages. Exceptionally hard-to-find. Massive, well-researched study on atheism, its history, its philosophy, and its relevance to living today, with emphasis on the contrasts between atheism and the scriptures. In sturdy black cloth-covered boards with clean, bright gilt-lettered spine. The front board shows a few small spots of very brief, faint discoloration and one page - page 249-250 - is corner clipped as the result of a printer's defect, but the book itself otherwise has no notable flaws. The book is exceptionally clean, square and straight, and is very firm and tight in its binding, no pages loose or missing. Hinges sound and undamaged, corners sharp and unbumped. There is no writing, underlining or highlighting in the book. Cloth binding shows virtually no wear, no tears or fraying, no pieces missing, no rubs or wear-throughs. The dustjacket is clean, complete and intact (two short, well-closed edge tears on the top front edge), NOT price-clipped, no chips or pieces missing, with one faint area of discoloration from brief exposure to dampness at the top portion of the front jacket panel. Nice copy of a scarce, comprehensive book on the subject. N° de ref. de la librería
