Acerca de

Sinopsis:

A child's guide to being a dreamer that is sure to become a favorite with adults. C.I. Kayli's whimsical rhyming chronicles the ups and downs that often come with following your dreams. Her book urges children to, 'Get up and dream. Dream, dream, you must! Don't become couch-sitting, excuse-knitting, non-dreamer dust.' Illustrated in a scrappy yet sophisticated style, this book brims with humor, wisdom, and wit. A fun read for all ages.

About the Author:

C.I. Kayli is a children's author/illustrator, screenwriter, and novelist from Cleveland, Ohio. She began her writing career in the film industry as Cynthia Hagan and is an optioned and commissioned screenwriter and credited documentarian. Her original screenplay, The Disappearance of Daniel Klein, on which her first novel was based, was chosen by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a Nicholl Fellowship top 50 screenplay in 2013. C.I. Kayli holds a PhD in psychology and has worked as a child psychologist, a background which informs her work. Working almost exclusively in Appalachia, she encountered, 'too many children who didn't have dreams.' Her first children's picture book, Those Things Called Dreams, uses humor, wisdom, and a whimsical rhyming style to chronicle the ups and downs that often come with following your dreams. But no matter what lies ahead she encourages children to always remember... 'You have razzle and dazzle and moxy to spare. And the know-how and grow-how to get yourself there.'
