About the Author: Kent Blakeney has been an overseas educator for the past fourteen years. He has taught middle school and high school social studies, science, and math in North Carolina, Nicaragua, Morocco, Nepal, Austria, Madagascar, and Senegal. Kent has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Miami University of Ohio, a Masters in Education from Walden University, and a PhD in Educational Leadership from Capella University. Kent is also the founder of Overseas School Research. When not teaching, Kent likes to spend time with his two children and wife, play golf, run, read, and spend time in outside.
