Being a universally recognized novelist, playwright, painter and musician Rabindranath was a prominent figure in the India's national movement and played a dynamic role in the dynamics of India's political movement. With its grace and charm, it combines gaiety and mirth., About The Author:- Hironmoy Banerjee graduated from the Presidency College, Calcutta, with first class honours in Philosophy and passed the Indian Civil Service Examination in 1926. he joined the Bengal Cadre of the I.C.S. and till the Independence served in the judiciary and administration. He was appointed the first Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra Bharati University and was reappointed for a second term. He was the Vice-President of the Asiatic Society and President of the Executive Committee of Ramakrishna Mission, Institute of Culture, Calcutta. In 55 years of literary life he wrote 40 books and over 250 articles on a wide range of subjects, ranging from philosophy, Tagore literature, social history, rural reconstruction, agriculture and Sankrit grammar, etc. he also translated poems, stories and one novel.
