Red cloth, decorated d.w. in cream with red & yellow. viii, 248 pp. D.w. shows few minute chips, smudging, couple of 1/4" tears, spine panel evenly tanned; name to f.f.e.p., "Lawries of London"; binding shows slight lean, else a well preserved copy. Volume 2 of the Marchbanks Trilogy & one of Davies' earliest UK editions, published 2 years after the Clark Irwin edition. A desirable addition to any estimable collection of Davies firsts.
