Descripción

Censorship Dialogue script for the 1942 film. File copy, rubber-stamped MASTER FILE on the front wrapper. The only script associated with the early noir that we have ever seen, and the earliest Cornell Woolrich film noir. Notations in holograph ink and pencil on the front wrapper. Based on Woolrich's 1941 novel "The Black Curtain." Frank Thomspon (aka Danny Nearing, played by Meredith) wakes up in the middle of a street, with no memory of who he is or what he's done. Through investigation, he discovers that he may be the only suspect in a murderer case.Tall white self wrappers, noted as CENSORSHIP DIALOGUE SCRIPT on the front wrapper, dated March 30, 1942, noting 6909 feet of footage on 8 reels. 73 leaves, with last leaf of text numbered REEL4B-PAGE 8. Mimeograph. Very Good overall, side-stitched.Grant US. Selby Canon. Silver US. Spicer US. N° de ref. de la librería 136984
