Sinopsis: In 1995, a Russian aircraft carrier is destroyed by a mysterious creature that just as mysteriously disappears thereafter. Three hundred years later, Counsellor Deanna Troi awakens in her quarters from a nightmare in which she senses the voices of the crew of that Russian ship, whose life-essences were somehow absorbed by the creature that destroyed them. And the nightmare heralds a danger to the EnterpriseTM itself, for if Picard can't discover a way to communicate with the creature, it could absorb his crew just as it did the Russians.
Biografía del autor: Diane Carey is the author of the bestselling INVASION!:FIRST STRIKE and numerous other Star Trek novels including episode tie-ins from The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager, amongst them THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR, TRIALS AND TRIBBLEATIONS and WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND (all DS9), both DS9 volumes of the bestselling DOMINION WAR quartet, EQUINOX and ENDGAME (both Voyager).

I use the US Post Office only to ship books. I normally ship using the USPS Media rate but will ship Priority Mail or Express Mail at the customer's request and expense. I have found that the ABE default USPS Priority Mail postage settings cost me dearly requiring me to modify them. My Priority Mail charge comes up as $10.35 on ABE but if I can get the book in a $4.95 flat rate small box I will do so and adjust the postage charges down appropriately. I do not use postage as a source of revenue. These same policies apply for international shipping as well, unfortunately the costs are significantly higher for First Class (4 lbs and under)or International Priority Mail; if I find I can get a book to you cheaper than the rate I have posted on ABE I will adjust the charge down. Be assured that your book will be packed quite securely.
