Encuadernación: Soft cover
Condición del libro: Fair
Historic volume from the library of Charles H. Sherrill, inventor of the now standard "Crouch Start" in sprinting. His then unconventional start is discussed from page 199. Up until that day all runners started from an upright, clenched-fisted pose. Apparently, reports of the time (1887) suggested that Sherrill "seemed to stumble," but went on to win anyway. Also in the book is a photocopy of an article concerning Sherrill and his later residency in NYC. N° de ref. de la librería 000141
