First edition with these illustrations. White cloth boards have light blue rules, lettering, and design on the front cover and spine. Top edge blue. Covers are moderately foxed and soiled. Spine is darkened, bumped and rubbed at head and foot. Extremities are dust soiled and rubbed. Former owner's bookplate appears on the front pastedown. A portion of Whittier's initialed note laid in at front free endp. Frontis is a trifle foxed at extremities.
