Later on Bateson holds 'a Profit arising' on the farms of McKendry and Carson in his 'own hands', and there is also a reference to the Bridge Farm. The latter part of the document consists of itemised 'Expenses paid on accot of my Farm', with 73 entries indicating the extensive nature of the concern, including: 'Davd. Smith return of Labourers', 'Cost of 89 Bushells of oats for Seed', 'Cost of 850 young Fir Trees', 'Cost of 422 Barrels of Lime'. A number of individuals are named, including 'Wm.
