Section 2 is Gilbert Halcrow's diaries. Halcrow was a merchant service seaman who served on troop convoys from Australia to the Middle East in World War I, Gallipoli, Emden, Caspian Force etc; a special service to Soutthern Russia. Section 3 covers emigration from the Shetland Islands to Australia; the Halcrows who migrated to Glenorie; Gilbert Halcrow's career and death at Plumpton). Scarce title.
