Descripción D. Appleton and Company, New York, New York, 1859. Hardcover. Estado de conservación: G+/VG-. Early (if not a First!) edition from 1859 of this long out-of-print title, in Hardcover, no DJ. It argues that William Shakespeare muSt have had training as a lawyer or at least clerked in a law office, & supports this with evidence from 23 plays, along with his poetry & will. NOT a modern reprint! Small hardcover book is solidly G+/VG-, with plain brown boards & gilt lettering on front. It shows moderate rubbing, slightly bumped corners, & fraying at foot of spine; 1 small sunned section (about 1" square) on back cover. Inside, the first page appears to have been cut out (& there is slight ink transfer from what was apparently an old inscription on the front endpaper), but the rest is intact & tight, with light tanning. NO writing, underlining, or highlighting. 146 pages. NOT a modern reprint; NOT ex-library. NO DJ. Please see our photos! Description & photos copyright Gargoyle Books 2016. Same Day Shipping on all orders received Weekdays by 2 pm (Pacific time); Weekends & holidays ship next business day!. Nº de ref. de la librería 005404
