We offer a free no obligation BOOKSEARCH SERVICE.The Poetry Bookshop was opened in Hay in the 1970's by Anne Stevenson and Michael Farley. Alan Halsey ran it from 1980 to the late 90's and the present owners Chris & Melanie Prince took over in 1998. In 2000 the shop moved to its present location The Ice House in Brook Street. For anyone who is familar with Hay it runs parallel with Broad Street where the shop used to be. We are almost back to back with our old shopOPENING HOURS SUMMER:EASTER - OCTOBER MON - SAT 11 am - 6pm SUN 11am - 5pm WINTER:NOVEMBER - EASTER MON - SAT 11 am - 5pm GMT SUN CLOSED. In winter opening times can vary so we suggest if you are making a special journey it's best to contact us first.
