Bound volume of the Scientific American Supplement THROUGH NOVEMBER 20 1897(minus last five issues November 27 to December 25), profusely illustrated in black and white, page numbers 17512-18262, 16 x 11 1/2 inches, leather spine and corners over cloth-covered boards (hardbound). Ex-Library with label to front paste-down and stamp to front free endpaper. Joints are split but still attached, exterior worn with leather deteriorating, Tears (repaired) to several pages; contents overall in very good clean condition. HEAVY VOLUME WHICH MAY REQUIRE EXTRA POSTAGE CHARGES. Numerous articles relating to science and technology that retain interest for a contemporary reader or researcher.
