3 7/8 in. x 7 6/8 in., folding engraved frontispiece (battle scene) by Samuel Gysin (1786-1844); x, [11]-183 pp. + [2]pp. explanation for the map (only a small portion (20%) of the hand-colored map, remains in this copy, the rest has been torn out), woodcut of monument at p.[165], with poems on the battle. Gray, design-printed paper-covered boards, with typographic border, and figure on a flying Angel with a victory wreath, on the back cover. The front cover is missing on this copy, and the back cover is nearly detached, with chipping to paper-covered spine; the engraved frontispece shows light damp, tanning; tan spotting to pages.
