Most people believe they have mastered the art of sandwich preparation once they have placed something (called a filling) between two slices of bread. But, unfortunately, they were not aware of why they did what they did. In fact following the same procedure with a different filling might have caused a blatant failure. For this reason it is cogent that we understand the infrastructure of a sandwich. We take you through this. Refrigerated leftovers make great sandwiches. One's decision on what filling will be used tends to be a function of the inventory of leftovers available in the refrigerator. The cartoon favorite sandwich maker, Dagwood Bumstead will attest to that. Knowing of this phenomenon we suggested the use of leftovers in the recipes wnstead of suggestions, giving ingredient quantities and steps in preparation of each of the recipes.
