Wyndham Lewis wrote in the Preface: "It would seem at a hasty glance that to make an anthology of Bad Verse is on the whole a simple matter . . . On the contrary . . . Bad Verse has its canons, like Good Verse. There is bad Bad Verse and good Bad Verse. It has been the constant preoccupation of the compilers to include in this book chiefly good Bad Verse. . It would seem necessay . to warn the reader strongly against despising or patronising good Bad Verse. There is no greater mistake. . good Bad Verse has an eerie, supernal beauty comparable in its accidents with the beauty of Good Verse.". N° de ref. de la librería 000166
