1st 1863. Almost very good condition with no wrapper. Brown cloth boards with gilt title and vignette to front and embossed pattern. Spine is untitled. Full page amusing sequences of events done on copper-plates. Covers scuffed and marked, corners lightly worn. Expertly re-backed with matching cloth and new endpapers. Contents a little marked with a few closed tears to margins. A few corner creases. Some slight loss to just a few page margins. A good working copy of an amusing antiquarian item. [S]. Contains pictorial plates some of which are loose and torn. Pages are slightly yellowed with light cracking to hinges exposing netting but pages remain tight. Moderate foxing and thumb prints throughout, noticeable inscription and scuffing to a few pages. Binding is firm with moderate corner bumping and soiling to boards. Spine has light shelf wear.
