Sinopsis: Deanna Hoffmann is the wife of Connard Hoffmann, a mother of 3 married sons, a grandmother to twelve grandchildren on earth and one in heaven, and a great grandmother to three precious great grandchildren. She was born and raised in a Christian home, and from small child on, she had a hunger to know God in a more personal way. In the fall of 1970, she had a spiritual encounter with The Living God, that truly transformed her life. After this encounter, her hunger deepened, for she knew that there was much more to knowing God and being known by Him, than she previously thought. She was challenged to start journaling her times of meditation, and on December 16th, 2006, she started receiving her journal entries in poetic form. After sharing the content of some of these poems, she was encouraged to have them published. This book is the first instalment of poetic prayers and meditations, designed to lead all who read them, either to become a believer in Christ Jesus, or to encourage believers in Christ Jesus to be more for Jesus and live closer to Him. The poems were written, during or after times spent in God's Word, and in prayer and meditation. The words received, encouraged, challenged and strengthened, Deanna's faith in God. It is her prayer that these words will be used to, embolden your faith in God, to show that we can contend against all difficulties, and resolutely face the challenges, that come our way each day, by the Power of The Holy Spirit, as revealed by The Love of God, who sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Lord and Saviour.
