This copy has a dated inscription signed "Howard" [the book is copyrighted by the father, Howard M. King, as the author was killed in an automobile accident prior to the publication of the book, and I think it likely that this is that same "Howard"] on the half-title page. "The story of a family of four who sailed around the world in their boat, fighting the savage sea, surviving a collision with a freighter at night after being dragged along its side for twenty-four seconds, and escaping the terrifying nightmare of falling overboard in a gale". 184 pages, illustrated [including map endpapers].
